Horseman is a sleepy hollow retelling, I adore the story of Sleepy Hollow so I was intrigued to see Christina Henry’s take on the tale and how she was going to make it darker and I was not disappointed, I was instantly hooked and as always Christina spun the story so that I was taken captive between the pages, stuck in the town of Sleepy Hollow following the events along with our main character Ben who I liked.Ĭhristina Henry’s books are quite scary and this one was gory, personally these things don’t bother me but I know for some it might so steer clear if you’re not keen on those things but it is a fantastic halloween read just like her other novels. Everyone in the village knows the legend of the horseman, but no one actually believes it happened. The story follows Ben Van Brunt a resident of sleepy hollow.

Christina Henry is well known for her retellings and when I heard her newest release was a retelling of Sleepy Hollow, I was desperate to get my hands on it.
